Chlover’s Garden

Fairy Tales begin with more than Once Upon a Time…

We were driving through Washington state when I took this photo. It was the golden hour for photography and the trees looked amazing.

The shadows cast by the set of trees to the right ended up making the forest on the left look as if it had two sets of trees, one short and one tall. I love this photo as it shows how, in the evening, you can be tired, but the world and sun are as well. They start to make things seem there that are not. It gives the sense that everyone and everything waxes or wanes.

The photo also feels a bit eery to me. Because the lighting was slightly orange and the dark of night was arriving, I felt that maybe wolves or vampire would come out. The lighting was a warning…
