Cinematography Still Shot

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

This still frame form the move has chosen to show the moment that Indiana Jones is about to attack someone, in the foreground, while running from the people in the background. The selection of the keeping the enemy group in the back and his face in the photo allows to understand there three groups of people, without showing us the third group. The still also shows depth (how far the two groups of people are from one another), and the perspective of panic from Indiana. The lighting in this shot allows us to see everything in the foreground and background, and I believe it is supposed to be mid-day.  Indiana clearly sticks out from the background, as the trees are somewhat darker than him, creating contrast. I am unsure of there is balance here though, other than symmetry.
